$30 buy in for league and this covers all games for the entire season.
The scoring system will be 4 points for 1st, 3 points for 2nd, 2 points for 3rd and 1 point for last. No bonus points.
NO EXTRA BALLS. Any extra ball can be skillfully plunged but no flipper action can be used. Please look out for everyone and don't let anyone get DQed for using an extra ball.
All games will have a working tilt bobber or will not be used in league play.
Players will be randomly picked for the first 3 weeks and grouped into 4 and no less than 3 players in a group. After week 3 starting on week 4 through 8 groups will be made according to scoring. I.E. The top scores from all the first 3 weeks combined will be group 1. The second best scores from 3 weeks combined will be group 2 and so forth.
Groups will be randomly assigned games when groups are created.
When possible at locations we will have a 30 second warm up rule on tables. This means each player will have the OPTION to practice for 30 seconds.
The Ringer option. Weeks 1 through 4 you will be allowed one ringer and weeks 5 though 8 allowed one ringer or also known as having to miss a week and someone playing in your place. If you are not able to find a ringer please let me know because I have people that would love to play. If you are not able to make it to league night and do not have a ringer you will still receive 4 points. This has been thought about and debated for many weeks and I am at the stage in the game to just making a judgement call.
Practice at each location will begin at 7pm and league play begins at 8pm. Of course if you are running late just let me know and we will accommodate.
Once league play is done (meaning all groups have finished playing) league will be over. If the host does not mind letting you play longer after league play, that will be up to them for extended practice time beyond league play. I know some hosts have work in the morning and I want to be respectful of that.
If there are any questions please see myself or the host and we will make a ruling as best we can based on IFPA rule sets. This is new to me but we have some players who have been in IFPA league and can help us make the best decisions for league play.
If there is a tie for either 1st place, 2nd place or 3rd place at the end of league play a 1 ball showdown on a random (wheel of destiny through google) will be chosen for a face off. A coin flip will decide who gets to choose position.
